Demonstrates the action of electric currents on a magnet. A magnetic needle freely moves on a pivot carried at the top of an insulating pillar on a heavy, enamel painted base. Needle surrounded by a non-magnetic, rectangular frame of aluminum strip. Pair of 4mm socket terminal provided at the other end to change the direction of the current and the section through which the current flows.
