FAQs of Co-Axial Microscopes:
Q: How does the co-axial focusing mechanism improve microscope usage in laboratories?
A: The co-axial coarse and fine focusing knobs allow users to make smooth and precise adjustments with both hands conveniently placed. This design reduces user fatigue and minimizes focus drift, which is particularly beneficial during prolonged observations and obtaining detailed focus at high magnifications.
Q: What are the primary benefits of achromatic objective lenses in this microscope?
A: Achromatic objectives significantly reduce color dispersion and optical aberrations, offering crisp and true-to-color imagery across all magnifications. This ensures accurate analysis of specimens, which is essential in laboratory research and educational settings.
Q: When should the 100x oil immersion objective be used, and what is the process?
A: The 100x oil immersion lens is utilized when detailed, high-magnification observation of minute specimen structures is needed. Apply a drop of supplied immersion oil between the lens and slide before focusing. This process increases resolution and image clarity by reducing light refraction.
Q: Where can this microscope be installed and used most effectively?
A: This co-axial microscope is ideal for laboratory environments in educational, research, and clinical settings. Its sturdy build, manageable size, and advanced features make it suitable for benchtop installations in both large and small laboratories.
Q: What is included in the package, and how does it ensure safe delivery?
A: Each package contains the microscope, dust cover, immersion oil, power cord, and a user manual. The components are securely packed in a corrugated box lined with protective foam to prevent transit damage and support long-term equipment reliability.
Q: How does adjustable illumination enhance specimen examination?
A: Users can select either LED or halogen light sources and fine-tune intensity based on specimen requirements. This versatility supports clear visualization of samples under various conditions, enhancing detail detection and minimizing eye strain during extended sessions.
